About me

I am a researcher in Social Epidemiolgy at the Institute of Medical Sociology in Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Einstein Center Population Diversity (ECPD). In my PhD I investigated social determinants of health in old age from an intersectional perspective. In my research aim to understand how population heterogeneities affect health inequalities, in outcomes such as cognitive functioning, multimorbidity, functional ability and biological aging.

My focus is on quantitative intersectionality to measure how multiple social inequalities affect disparities in healthy aging, while also analyzing interactions between biological and social/environmental determinants of health. I am highly interested in the social epidemiology of sleep, aiming to unravel inequalities in sleep health accross diverse populations.

I am always happy to talk about current research or potential new endeavors. Whether you are looking for a collaboration or a chat about common interests, do not hesitate to contact or follow me!
